Coffee-Coco Popsicles
After a long time, the temperature has crossed 60 F and I'm so happy with the sunshine. This week had lots of sun and I couldn't wish for more. I finally switched off the heater and opened all the windows. Spring is here!!
I had already planned for making some Popsicles at home when it was crazy cold here.
So yesterday, I got all the popsicle moulds out and decided to get my hands cold in the process. :D Considering my recent addiction to coffee, I thought of making some Coffee Popicles with a hint of Coco.
So yesterday, I got all the popsicle moulds out and decided to get my hands cold in the process. :D Considering my recent addiction to coffee, I thought of making some Coffee Popicles with a hint of Coco.
The outcome was superb! The smell of strong brewed coffee and taste of coffee-coco mix is absolutely irresistable. They turned so fab that you have to give it a try too!
Coffee and coco popsicles are made from the very basic ingredients available in our kitchen. If you don't have moulds, you can still use shot glasses/simple glasses and candy sticks to get home-made popsicles. Coco powder can be replaced by Bournvita :) These Coffee-Coco popsicles look so beautiful yet simple to make.
Ingredients:
Instructions:

- Strain the Coffee and let it cool.
- In a mug, add the condensed milk.
- Add brewed coffee to the milk and stir. This will be light Coffee
- Take another mug and add some coffee to it.
- Add coco powder to that mug of coffee. This will be darker than the previous one so -Dark coffee.
- Check to see the sweetness.Add some sugar or honey if needed.
- Remove the moulds from the freezer and fill in the Dark Coffee first.
- The Dark coffee should be filled 1/3 of the mould.
- Cover the moulds and let the Coffee Popsicles sit for hours into the freezer.
- After 2 hours, add light Coffee to fill the rest of the moulds.
- Insert sticks into each mould and place them in the freezer.
- Let the Popsicles sit for 3-4 hours.
- After 3-4 hours, remove the Popsicles. Hold each of the Popsicle under running warm water or late it stand at room temperature for some time.
- Slowly remove the Popsicle from the mould.
- Now sit back , relax and have coffee popsicles!
