Spaghetti with Teriyaki Mushroom


Mushrooms are my go-to when I fall short of quick meals. This weekend it is Teriyaki Mushroom with spaghetti.

I could not believe how quick my meal was prepped and how delectable it looked. The smokey-sweet flavour of the sauce is so gripping. I could not resist the temptation to taste those beautifully glazed mushrooms. Those cute broc florets to add green element and the crunch.







Ingredients:
  • 7-8 Mushrooms
  • 4 tbsp of Teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 cup of broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp of Oregano
  • 1 tbsp of black pepper
  • 1 tbsp of paprika
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Brown rice glute free Spaghetti noodles
  • 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste
Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, add 1 tbsp of olive oil on a medium flame.
  2. Wash the mushrooms and slice them vertically. 
  3. Add the mushrooms to the sauce pan and saute it for about 5 mins.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste to the mushrooms, salt, oregano, pepper and paprika

  5. Meanwhile in a deep heavy bottom pan, boil the noodles.
  6. Once the noodles are al-dente, drain the water off.
  7. Transfer the drained noodles to a mixing bowl.
  8. Add Teriyaki mushrooms to the noodles and serve.
PS: You can add soy sauce, sugar an lemon zest to create Teriyaki sauce instead of the actual one.
