Mosaru Avalakki aka Dahi Poha
Poha, the staple breakfast of India has turned into one of the quickest and easiest breakfast. If you are tired of the regular Poha, don't worry, I've got your back.
Ingredients:

- 1 cup (200gm)of thick Poha
- 1/2 cup (around 150gms) chilled yogurt
- 1 tsp of olive oil
- 4-5 curry leaves for tempering
- 1tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2-3 cashews
- 2 tsp of urad dal
- 2 red chillies
- 1/2 tsp hing
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
Instructions:
- Wash Poha with water thoroughly in a colander. Transfer the Poha to a deep bowl.
- Let it sit for 2 mins.
- Meanwhile, whisk the curd and add it to the Poha.
- Mix Poha and curd gently and thoroughly. If you feel the curd is less, add 1/3 cup more.
- In a tempering wok, heat oil on a low flame.
- Add mustard and cumin seeds.
- Once the seeds start to crackle, add curry leaves, red chillies and urad daal.
- At this time, lower the flame and turn off the flame once the dal is brownish.
- Add a hint of asafoetida. Let the tempering cool.
- Once cooled, add it to the Poha and mix it thoroughly.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate Poha for a few mins and then serve.
